Eng. Paolo Busetto, Sales Director Building Division – Isolconfort Srl
Isolconfort has been operating for over forty years in the production and distribution of thermal and acoustic insulating materials for the building industry, with a particular focus on expanded sintered polystyrene (EPS) solutions for wall, roof, and floor insulation. Research and development of new products go hand in hand with a production system focused on performance control and material quality. Headquartered in San Vito al Tagliamento (Pordenone), the company has three production plants located in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Veneto, and Piedmont.
The Friuli-based company has long embarked on a path to evaluate the environmental performance of its products, choosing EPDItaly to publish Environmental Product Declarations for numerous EPS insulation solutions. This is a commitment that has consolidated over the years through the expansion of the range of products featuring EPDs and the use of life cycle assessment (LCA).
We discuss this with Eng. Paolo Busetto, Building Sales Director of Isolconfort, in this video interview dedicated to the company’s journey and the role of EPDs in measuring and communicating the environmental performance of building materials.
