“Measuring, Assuring, Communicating Transparently” is the theme that will guide the event celebrating EPDItaly’s 10th anniversary, scheduled for June 10 in Rome at the Via Rieti Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The conference will be a high-profile opportunity to discuss the importance of measuring and communicating the environmental impact of products in different economic sectors. A decade-long journey that has seen EPDItaly establish itself as an authoritative national and international reference, promoting transparency and reliability in environmental sustainability.
The work will be opened by Lorenzo Orsenigo, President and General Manager of ICMQ; this will be followed by an overview of the international EPD scenario, illustrated by Christian Donath, CEO of Eco Platform. Francesco Carnelli will retrace the achievements of EPDItaly in these ten years, with concrete data and testimonials from leading companies.
The day will continue with speeches and round tables dedicated to the future of EPDs: Ugo Pannuti and Professor Caterina Gargari from the University of Pisa will explore the regulatory evolution and the driving role of the construction sector. Ample space will be devoted to the potential of EPDs in different industrial and service sectors: fashion, design, food, and construction.
Guests include representatives from leading certification bodies-TÜV, SGS, IMQ and ICMQ-who will speak to discuss the increasingly central role of environmental certifications in verifying product sustainability.
The event is aimed at businesses, professionals and stakeholders interested in understanding how to build a truly sustainable market through credible measurement, robust assurance and transparent communication of environmental sustainability.
