{"id":100007376,"date":"2025-03-27T12:42:50","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T11:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/?p=100007376"},"modified":"2025-09-08T15:08:49","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T13:08:49","slug":"new-epditaly-regulation-rev-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/2025\/03\/27\/new-epditaly-regulation-rev-7\/","title":{"rendered":"New EPDItaly Regulation Rev.7.1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The main purpose of the EPDItaly Regulations is to provide a tool for the development, verification\/validation and publication of Environmental Product Declarations, in which the Organization can report environmental information related to the product or service provided.<\/p>\n<p>The Regulations are revised every 3 years or upon input from the market to possibly adapt them to its changing needs.<\/p>\n<p>As of <strong>5 Settembre 2025<\/strong>, the New EPDItaly Regulations came into effect.<\/p>\n<p>These are the main changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adaptation of the document to be consistent with EN 15941 \u201cSustainability of construction works &#8211; Data quality for environmental assessment of products and construction work &#8211; Selection and use of data \u2018and ISO 14020 \u2019Environmental statements and programs for products &#8211; Principles and general requirements,\u201d resulting in updated guidance on data quality and the concepts of \u201cRaw data,\u201d \u201cSpecific data,\u201d \u201cGeneric data,\u201d and \u201cProxy data.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Elimination of the \u00b110% limit as a discriminator for the inclusion of products in the average and sector EPD and updating of the definition thereof.<\/li>\n<li>Revision of the definition of product-specific EPD to regulate the creation of a specific EPD even for products manufactured entirely at multiple production sites and of products with multiple sizes or formats.<\/li>\n<li>Introduction of the concepts of \u201cMass Value\u201d and \u201cMaterial Properties\u201d as metadata for more complete digitization.<\/li>\n<li>Explication of the need to include in the LCA and EPD Report the level of data quality achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Formalization of the possibility of accepting product certifications, regarding recycled content, in lieu of verification, if already present.<\/li>\n<li>Specifications for EPD validation of products not yet manufactured (Annex 6), with guidelines for accredited Verification\/Validation Bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Inclusion of verification\/validation procedures governing the case of EPDs having a retailer or distributor as EPD Owner (Annex 8).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For more details download the new regulations in the \u201cDownload\u201d section<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Transition Period from Regulation Rev.6 to Regulation Rev.7.1:<strong><br \/>\nStarting from 01\/10\/2026,it will no longer be possible to publish EPDs in compliance with Regulation Rev.6.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of March 27, 2025, the New EPDItaly Regulations will be in force<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":100006626,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[15],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-100007376","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/100007376","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=100007376"}],"version-history":[{"count":6,"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/100007376\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":100008057,"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/100007376\/revisions\/100008057"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/100006626"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=100007376"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=100007376"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.epditaly.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=100007376"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
